A New Tool for Treating STIs and Preventing HIV

CDC’s STD Treatment Guidelines are updated every four years to reflect changes in testing and treatment of STIs for specific populations. The Guidelines are available on the web, in wall chart and pocket guide formats, and in an eBook. Now, they also are available through a new mobile application, giving clinicians access to STI treatment information on their mobile devices just about anywhere. Having the most up-to-date treatment guidelines available in multiple formats translates to better access, better care, and, ultimately, better health.  Click here for more information.

FACT Bucks County to receive the Beyond the Rainbow Award at SOLAP

The 2014 recipient of Planned Parenthood Keystone’s Beyond the Rainbow Award is FACT Bucks County for its extraordinary support and consciousness for our LGBTQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, and Allies) programs, Planned Parenthood, and the greater LGBTQA community.  FACT, Fighting Aids Continuously Together, will receive the award at the agency’s event, Sing Out Loud & Proud (SOLAP) on Saturday, April 26th at 3 p.m. in the RRazz Room at the Ramada in New Hope.
